of Skalia,

in the north part of Kalymnos.

From Arginonta to Skalia there are enormously high rocks, which however, end up smoothly in the sea.

It is a quiet area with few residents, whose main occupation is livestock breeding.

The sunny village is built on a mountain slope and offers a splendid view.

Lower, by the sea, is Saint Nikolaos's monastery, built on the ruins of an ancient temple and in front of it there is a beautiful beach.

There are very few buildings along the coast. Among them are « Panormitis Pizanias» apartments.
